Very. Because its core ingredient is a key part of human immune responses, it is at home on or in the human body so as long as large quantities are not consumed then contact and inhalation do not result in adverse effects. Under some circumstances, some eye irritation may occur but its not hazardous and can be rectified by washing in clean water. Meanwhile, once you have poured, wiped, sprayed or immersed the space or object you wish to disinfect, the residual Desy will evaporate or revert to a mildly salty solution. Depending on the mineralization rating of machine you are using (You can have standard or low mineralization) there may be some salt dust may appear on surfaces. This can be vacuumed off.

Our machines electro-synthesize salt and water using special patented generators. These produce two fluids — Desy the disinfectant and Limy the detergent. The electro-synthetic process dramatically reorganises the molecular structures of the component elements and the addition of substantial electrical charges means our bactericides are both chemically and elector-chemically potent whilst the detergent is super ionized resulting in a high pH and yet without toxicity. Desy contains 98% WATER with Hypochlorous acid (HCIO), Hypochlorite ions, (CIO), Chlorine Dioxide (CIO2) and Ozone (O3) and Limy contains electrolysed Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) and Hydroxide ions (OH).
Desy will last up to 6 months and Limy normally 2 months. It is important to store both the fluids in cool conditions (so less than 30 degrees C) and in opaque NON METALLIC containers sealed from the air and kept out of direct sunlight.
The simplest definition is a substance’s propensity to add or loose electrons from or to another molecule. The high REDOX charges in Desy (from +800 to +1200) mean that it is especially good at oxidising pathogens and bacteria. It means that Desy is better equipped to attack and neutralise not only bacteria and viruses but larger, more substantial spores and fungi. Desy is a far wider acting disinfectant than most on the market because of this double oxidation and chemical capacity.
Any large areas requiring full scale disinfection are particularly suitable given the economies of exploitation Desy offers. Schools, hospitals, dental surgeries, public health facilities, kindergartens are al uniquely sensitive to disinfection. Many of our clients are from the food and beverage industries where large volume disinfection and cleaning is required and where environmental and production sensitivities mean cost savings are a function of time and energy as much as price per litre. Swimming pools, fountains, public markets (meat, fish and fruit/vegetable) all benefit from Desy (which can be frozen for shelf life extension of perishable items). Homeowners and business owners enjoy peace of mind where they deploy Desy to ensure a more secure atmosphere in times of viral threat.
Nothing! Once applied, the solution does its work and either evaporates or reverts over time to a mildly salty solution. There are no disposal issues and excess can be poured into the waste-water system.
They are indiscriminate in their killing effect and are toxic in various degrees to humans. UV is simply a wavelength of light so anything in the shadows is missed and people cannot be in the room whilst the machines are working — a challenge in hospitals! Ozone is poisonous to humans in larger doses and is ineffective against many strains of pathogens and especially against spores and fungi. Chlorine and Sodium Hydroxide (bleach) are good killers but are super toxic to humans and the environment. Chlorine was even used as a weapon in both world wars!
We recommend 1 liter of Desy for every 10sq m of surface space and 1 liter for every 20 cubic meter of air space when fogging or misting the solution.
