A significant event recently took place at our dojo — we received a new shōmen. This authentic scroll, with an intricate history, was specially written for us by the renowned Japanese calligraphy master, Nomura Shōheishi. We express our immense gratitude to Nomura Sensei for this beautiful scroll, which will now inspire me and my students in our budo practice. And I sincerely hope that in the future, I will have the chance to practice budo together with Nomura Sensei, who is also a budo master.
